Job Title

Travel RN – Medical ICU (MICU) – Nights – Weekend Only

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) setting during overnight weekend shifts
Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Accurately document patient information and clinical interventions using Epic EMR (experience required)
Adhere to facility dress code, including navy blue scrubs (required)
Complete a competency test within 24 hours of submission

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of New York
Minimum of 2 years of ICU/MICU experience
Epic EMR experience required
Previous travel nursing experience required
Candidates from ineligible local counties are not being accepted for this position; candidates must verify eligibility at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in a high-acuity or Level I/Level II trauma center environment
Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in a fast-paced ICU setting
Familiarity with complex ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
