Job Description

Our client is seeking a General Accountant to support their accounting operations with a strong focus on month-end and year-end close processes within an Oracle Fusion environment .

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Prepare and post general ledger entries and journal entries with accuracy and attention to detail


• Manage balance sheet and bank account administration, including reconciliations and supporting documentation


• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including fixed asset reconciliation and accrual management


• Prepare financial reports and perform variance analysis to investigate discrepancies and trends


• Perform accounting activities and maintain financial data within Oracle Fusion


• Assist with internal and external audit requests, ensuring timely and accurate documentation support


• Maintain organized accounting records and ensure all activities are completed within established timelines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting , Finance , or related field


• 4–8 years of general accounting experience with demonstrated proficiency in GL entries , journal entries , and reconciliations


• Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion


• Strong knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)


• Strong knowledge of month-end and year-end close procedures, fixed asset management, and financial reporting


• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate variances and discrepancies


• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks


• Professional communication skills and ability to support cross-functional teams and audit requests
